Performance Resources Consulting, LLC (PRC) is a Management Consulting and Business Process Improvement firm based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Performance Resources is comprised of three Partners, 12 Associate Consulting Partners, and a Board of Advisors.  The firm provides a wide array of professional services including strategic planning and leadership assessments/development, executive coaching, HR compliance and quality/process improvement resources.

Everybody, consulting firms included, claim they are different because they provide better quality, the best price, special approaches, responsiveness, great credentials, and a focus on the client.  DUH, everybody does this stuff, that's NOT DIFFERENT!  When we see mission statements that ooz this stuff we puke because, who WOULDN'T say they focus on "customer service, excellence, value, quality, and approaches that meet the needs of the market?"  That doesn't provide your client with an advantage, it's not different, it's the SAME as every company out there!

Ted is the only six sigma blackbelt, PHR, and ROI combined certified consultant  in the WORLD!

Practical:

Most consultant's offer only theoretical knowlege. They could not, and have not, ever actually had to LEAD or implement difficult decisions in a business.  Most could not handle the jobs of the people they supposedly are trying to train!  Ted has owned multiple businesses and has worked at every level from line production to executive. 

Simple:

No magic, straightforward solutions designed to be put in the hands of the client...not ongoing consulting dependent magic.

Brutal Honest:

Ask any client, they consistently rate us the most candid and direct of any advisor they've ever had.  We do it in Love, but it's often not easy.  :-)

Ted Garnett, Six Sigma Black belt, PHR, CRP  (President)

 

Ted Garnett is an entrepreneur with various business interests/experiences and is the founder of Performance Resources Consulting LLC.  A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Ted holds a BA Degree in Business Administration: Human Resources and Business Communications.  He is the only consultant in the world certified in all three of the following: Return on Investment (CRP) through the ROI Institute,  Six Sigma Black Belt for Business Process Improvement through the Engineering School at the University of Texas, and a Professional in Human Resources by the National Society for Human Resources

Management.  Ted also holds certifications in Employment Law and ERISA Benefits/COBRA Administration.

 

Prior to founding PRC, Ted was employed in private industry in manager and executive HR/Operational positions.  He was also a Manager of the HR Consulting Practice for the 6th largest accounting and consulting firm in the nation, McGladrey & Pullen, LLP.  His background includes over a decade of Organizational Development consulting and training with clients ranging in size from very small companies to Fortune 500 companies (John Deere, General Electric Capital Corporation).  Ted is an Adjunct Professor at Kirkwood Community College, on the online Faculty for Villanova University/ROI Institute, on the Faculty of the Graduate School of Banking and on several boards and community volunteer positions.  Click here for Ted's Full Bio.

Jim Healy

Jim Healy is the President of a partner firm KSF Associates.  Prior to consulting, Jim was President and CEO of a regional financial institution responsible for a $700 million credit organization with eight locations.  Jim also coordinated the merger and consolidation planning for 13 corporations which eventually resulted in two consolidated units.  Jim has done extensive work with Boards-of-Directors and led numerous strategic planning teams at local, state and regional levels.  His expertise is in planning, communications, leadership development, team building, and change management.  Jim is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Northern Iowa College of Business Administration - Management and Professional Development Center and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

 

Amy Newbanks Letke, SPHR
Amy has over fifteen years of experience in human resources management and senior leadership in various industries. Amy is president of a partner firm, Integrity HR, Inc. and  she led the HR Consulting Practice for Thompson Associates, the largest employee benefits agency in Louisville, KY. Amy has also held the post of Vice President of Human Resources for a large, Chicago-based software development firm and held other positions in consulting and Human Resource management with several Fortune 500 companies.  She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute, a certified DiSC instructor/trainer, and earned a Bachelors degree from DePauw University and Master of Business Administration degree from St. Ambrose University. She is also the co-founder of www.hrreview.com.

 

Steve Lounsberry, Associate Consulting Partner
A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Steve Lounsberry holds a BA Degree in Business Administration and a MBA from the University of Iowa.  He is certified as an Insurance Services/Products provider.  His emphasis is in sales coaching and bringing teams together with a results-focus on achieving strategic business performance objectives.  Steve is employed in a Chief Operating Officer capacity and has been with major multi-million dollar Firms.  His background includes 20 years of corporate sales management, strategic planning and turn-around experience.
